This is one of the worst and most ridiculous myths in the world of weight watching...Never stop eating to try and lose weight...its bass-ackwards!

People who skip meals (especially breakfast) and eat fewer times during the day tend to be heavier than people who eat four or five times a day.

There are several reasons for this. One, you slow down your metabolism, the speed that your body is running. Two, you tend to eat more at other meals to compensate for feeling so hungry. Eating small meals throughout the day helps people control their appetites better and keep their fuel (calories) burning.

When you skip meals you are working against your body trying to lose weight!

The best way to eat would be 6-7 meals 2 to 3 hours apart. This keeps the metabolism stimulated and lets your body function at optimum capacity.

I naturally have a lousy appetite! I can only handle 2 meals a day with may be a sandwich or small snack in between.. And even when i eat those two meals its not a good bet that i will wipe everything off my plate. I get full really fast and have almost never finished a 3 course meal. Just even drinking a glass of juice for example can offset my appetite by a couple of hours.

I do drink tea every morning and my brother told me it must be the tea that causes appetite loss. But i was under the impression only green tea does this.
